Welcome our new Director!
What is aging?
Is it growing older, getting grey hairs, and developing wrinkles… or is it something different?
To me, aging is an experience, an opportunity that not everyone gets to partake in.
As the new Executive Director at the Sarah Daft Home, I am excited to bring about new opportunities, and new experiences for our residents. Being able to provide a higher quality of life is something I strive to do, and is something that will make our community very unique. My priorities don’t include: granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances, they do however include: a home-like environment, a caring and dedicated staff, great food, and activities that aid in life-long learning. As once said by Rob Lowe, “My issue isn’t about physical aging; my issue is about wanting to remain vigorous and youthful in my spirit.” Challenging our minds, remaining engaged, and having a purpose in life, all contributes to our aging experience, and is something we are committed to doing at Sarah Daft. We're eager to see what the future brings, and can’t wait to get started!
